IMO: THE HIJACKING OF WORDS

It’s funny…right… laugh with me. hahhaahahaa hardy har har. What’s so funny, how some words can all of a sudden become a culture or a movement. The best example of today is “woke”. A slang term that someone invented that simply means be aware… be aware of the truth… don’t get hustled or taken. Now, that word spurned a movement. That word started something… but it wasn’t the word that did it, it was someone that used the popularity of that word for their own measures. For better or worse, the word woke isn’t bad… another way of saying it is “Timeo Danaos et dona ferentes” That’s right… I know… shit is that greek or latin… well I know google… it roughly translates to “Beware of Greeks bearing gifts”, and it is a Latin phrase from Aeneid, a Latin epic poem written by Virgil. … In modern English, it is used as a proverb to warn against trusting an enemy or adversary, even when they appear to be making an enticing offer. Woke. When it wasn’t a movement to cancel people or attached to bullshit… it was a an epic poem by modern day slangsters, a one word poem, snap your fingers with me. Now that is used to influence people in what might be dubious ways or attached to silly, not meaning blessed with worthiness, situations, it has lost its luster and its panache. People always screw shit up. In my opinion, the hijacking of these words is due to greed, not really caring about the altruistic definitions of influential words, and just using it to line your pockets. That’s why my blog is free, that and because no normal person would pay to read it, but mainly that altruism thing. Lol… I am serious.

People over analyze the word and use it inappropriately… I certainly most likely have. In the end it is just a word with a definition, not a religion…. and a likely pseudonym of a stripper.

I got the inspiration from a political comedy show and funny mfer… Bill Mahr. I always said that comedians, the good ones, are the best philosophers, they make you think while they make you laugh.

If you are thinking that karma has a place in religion, I think so, but not the way we think about it. Not in personal terms. God doesn’t only love one person and gets karma for that person. Its probably in a more grand scale, like climate change. Treat the earth like shit and karma has its role. The bible says, hahahaha, this would drive Bill Mahr crazy, that you divide your farm into seven plots and you sow from six of them while you let one rest and heal itself. The next harvest you let another heal itself, while you use the other six. This has been scientifically proven to be right, but people don’t do that, they just use all the land and don’t allow for the earth to repair itself. It basically says treat the earth kindly, but we don’t and now we have this. I can see mushroom clouds on top of people’s heads right now quoting religion to defend climate change policies.

See if I can give an example. A dip shit robs a bank, he gets caught and goes to jail. That is karma…also can be called justice, among other things. A wall street guy allows for shitty mortgages and he gets rich… that’s called fucked up.

Like every other word, the definition of karma changes over time when people use it wrong and no one corrects them. Here are some examples….

  • Silly. Original meaning: Blessed with worthiness….. not anymore
  • Flux. Original meaning: Diarrhoea or dysentry…. ha… not even close
  • Fudge. Original meaning: Lies and nonsense…. Well, some people do eat both up without hesitation
  • Leech. Original meaning: A doctor or healer…. Now, it’s the guy from the rich and famous
  • Stripe. Original meaning: A mark on the skin from a lash…. how definitions change. The more stripes you get in the military is now a good thing. Not back then.

IMO: THE JOE ROGAN EXPERIENCE

I told myself that I wouldn’t write about this mess. I was like Manny, don’t even blarticle this nonsense, it will just get in you trouble. Then other Manny was like, no one reads your lousy blog anyway, who cares if you comment.. Then first Manny was like yeah, but this is so controversial, and everything on the internet stays living forever. Then other Manny was like … Dude, nobody gives a shit what you have to say so say what you want. Alright other Manny… here I go. (just so you know, this is literary freedom, fiction, framework, there is only one Manny and I don’t have a split personality disorder, this is my way of saying that I wrestled over the decision of writing this blarticle and that was my way of expressing it. I thank the creators of the show Archer for the inspiration).

You know what the problem of cancel culture is, it’s that you have to be perfect. You can’t make any mistakes or you are sent to the abyss. And let me tell you something, that abyss is getting quite full. So many perfect people in this world not willing to hear an explanation, not willing to forgive a mistake, so elite…. We should just let them tell us what we should do for every step of our lives. You know why socially dumb people stay socially dumb, because at the first dumb mistake they make, they are outcast, then they find themselves with the really shitty people who befriend them and eat their minds away and become really socially stupid. I’m hoping you get what I was meaning their. Everyone will, in their lifetime, say something socially wrong and everyone will offend someone else’s culture, most of the time without thinking or not meaning it the way that it came out. Its incumbent on them to then atone for their mistakes and it is your decision to forgive or hold on to that grudge. If that insensitivity is a prolonged pattern, especially after being told that what they were saying was wrong, then I can see not wanting to be associated with that person, but in the case of Mr. Joe Rogan, it doesn’t seem like it was something that was meant to be intentionally hurtful, I will admit though, I do not listen to his show but I don’t listen to any podcast.

The you vs. them (I’m not in your bullshit) situation in this country, and there definitely is one, don’t listen to these politicians that tell you otherwise, is very real and only getting worse. And that is on both sides. They want to keep that hate because they have hate in their heart. If you are not willing to have a conversation about it, to educate people so they can see why what they say or said was hurtful, so they can alter their decisions in the future, then you might as well go ahead and buy that popcorn and lawn chair and watch this country tear itself apart. No one is perfect, everyone is human… some people just want to keep those fires of racial hatred going because it benefits them and most likely their pocketbook. It benefits this country to have the conversation and to just get along, is it get along or is it get alone.. no that’s not it.. get a loan… I’m pretty sure it’s get along. I bet you that none of these boycotters bothered to call Joe and seek an explanation or hear his side of the story. That being said…. Joe Rogan could be a complete asshole, wtf do I know. But if it was me, I would have reached out to him before making a decision due to him, the courtesy of a conversation and maybe an explanation and possibly an apology and most likely a definite understanding of the situation.

People are not born with hate they are taught it. They can be taught to love too. Jesus, that was really wussy, but I’ll stick to that ideology.

Like I said before, the only ones that benefit from racial or any kind of hatred are people that make money off of it and…. lol… believe it or not, the government. Too busy hating each other to see some of the crazy shit that they are pulling off. I mean, c’mon, MKUltra, Tuskegee experiments, forced unnecessary hysterectomies of Hispanic women in detention and the list goes on for a while. And that’s just federal, the things the States have done would make make your head into a mushroom cloud. Probably f’ed up this whole conversation with this last paragraph. Keeping it real.

WHAT IF….

A 15 year old Michigan child is pleading insanity after he went on a school shooting rampage. That child reported hearing voices, more like whispers and he even said that the voices just won’t go away. No parent would ever want that to happen to their child, especially knowing how this whispers were happening. I am all in favor of choice, whether you choose to have a child or not, that is completely your decision. I don’t feel it right that people that don’t interfere with the ones that do or vice versa. What happens when it’s your own government that decides to screw with your kid?

What if…. everyone decided not to have children. At this point , where you have to acquiesce to a group of people and their sadistic behaviors, sadistic originating from the Marquis de Sade a French philosopher and a real sick bastard, and their fondness for being Alabama… inside joke that’s not so funny, also originating from Marquis de Sade and a French philosopher and a real sick bastard,… what would happen if people just started to decide not to bring children into a world where experiments like MKUltra, done to a 16 year old by the name of Theodore Kaczynski, you might know him by the name of Unabomber, were done by the government to its own citizens? Why should children suffer because sadistic, originating from the Marquis de Sade a French philosopher and a real sick bastard, people that have a fetish for… hmmmm… whatever.. run the show. what is it about the fascination of mind control that allows people to act like the most evil versions of themselves.

If no child was born, to a country where they have no regard for a child, then that country would soon perish. Maybe that’s the appropriate thing to happen. There are certain children of certain parents that would never happen to, but everyone else it seems to be duck season, or is it rabbit season…. No, child season. If I know, if there is any way to know, that this is what they will do to my child, I would do everything in my power to have my wife or girlfriend have an abortion. There is no way I would have a child. Btw…I do have a child, a son… my hypothetical is for any future offspring.

These people have a great way of deflecting by changing the topic and turning one person against the other, to the point where you don’t remember who the sadistic person is in the first place. The right hand can do whatever it wants when you are so focused on that left hand. MAGIC…….

WHAT IF….

Alright, I know, I stole this from Marvel…. the What if scenario…. I give them all the props for being inventive geniuses (I was going to put ingenuitive but it turns out that is not a word, huh, who knew)

Let me start, what if… you could go back in time and instead of killing all the evil people you kill all the people that made a contribution to humanity. Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, Shakespeare, Mozart, Angela Mayou, Jobs, Ghandi, Queen Isabella of Spain (that’s right, whether you like it or not), Tesla (Nikola not Elon, even though there is an argument to be made for the latter), Ghandi (crap, already said him), Galileo, Da Vinci, King Jr (the first time, they succeeded the second time) Mother Teresa.

What would the world look like today… Some may say that what they thought of, someone else would have eventually but I disagree. I think these people were here for that purpose and only they would have come up with the solutions to those problems. These people were all rebels, bucking the system, going against the grain, giving their governments giant headaches and a lot of angina (not to be confused with vagina) and a shitload of GERD. It wasn’t just their genius that made them special but also the fact that they had courage, enough to put their own lives at risk, to challenge the governments status quo, to complete their task.

So why is that this type of genius courage doesn’t exist anymore? How is it that the type of people that shaped the world for the better don’t really endure anymore. (Real quick, a shout out to the person that invented the thesaurus, exist.. endure…, )

Now, a lot like Aaron Swartz, who I thought would have revolutionized the world, Robin Williams, Chester Bennington, Hemingway and King Jr., and many modern day geniuses, if you go against the grain, the government seems to employ a lot of high tech devices to cut your feet from under you. But you know who still exists, they guy that kidnapped Dulce Alavez… and maybe using the same high tech devices. A Federal judge from Newark, NJ loses her only child to a freaked out maniac, someone with a promising future and lets pretend he would have been the first Hispanic President of these United States, you don’t know, now we’ll never know.

You ever wonder why this country would have an insurrection in 2020, in the 21st century instead of having cured the inequality of schools and/or homelessness, maybe because the person that had the answer was a rebel and is now no longer with us.
