I weigh in on silly situations because that’s what bloggers do. They make their opinion known to their 36, maybe 37 followers. Within the last week Liam Neeson made it known that a friend of his was raped and that he acted irrationally to someone being raped. He stated that he sought the person that did it or anyone that looked like that person. He was obviously traumatized by the event and acted outside normal behavior. The back lash to his comments about actions that happened some 40 odd years ago is, hmmm, how can I put it…. insane. He did something wrong, well, almost very wrong, and he admitted to it. People seem to take the fact that someone he obviously loved very dearly got RAPED and skim past that point like yeah, we all do it, well, we all don’t do that. His behavior is actually what occurs when a loved one is sexually molested or raped. You go outside your normal self and you want to lash out. Some people handle it in different ways. Some people file civil suits because the appropriate authorities are magooing it (as in Mr. Magoo), some people look for immediate action and some people just sit on their thumbs because they’re too damn scared of their own shadows. While Liam should have focused his frustrations on finding the guilty party, when a traumatizing event like that occurs it can discombobulate you. I’m glad the Mr. Neeson didn’t hurt anyone and that he came to his senses prior to doing anything dumb. But if I had a question for Mr. Neeson, it would be, “How’s your friend, is she alright?” because in this incident, she was the only one hurt and no one else.

It amazes me what people seem to take to heart. The forest for the trees people. And if rapists and sexual predators or people that support rape don’t want to see his movies… fuck them. I don’t support his action, I condemn the reactions or over reactions when they don’t take everything into perspective.

Waves up the nose

Those aren’t the only waves that go up the nose. The old lady can’t take no for an answer. Straight you old biddie. Born that way. I don’t cast assertions as to your preference, whatever makes you happy. Unless if what makes you guys happy is me, then find that happiness elsewhere. And good luck. Not being able take no for an answer is a serious flaw in your genetic make-up. See you in court crazies.

It’s not only the nose, it can be the hair, feet, thumbs and pinkies, electrical boogaloo. The tricks are plentiful. And it’s not only guys that they do this to, women … children. Crazy.

That question that lingers is why would you want to keep these methods such a secret?

Good Night of Boxing

In a good night of boxing, some of the sport’s elite put on a good display of their craft. Teofilmo Lopez, an amazing talent, fought the rugged Diego Magdaleno. I don’t know if Lopez is clairvoyant, he can see where his opponent is going to be, but it seemed like he couldn’t miss even if he wanted to. If someone was born boxing out of the womb, this young prodigy would definitely be the one, he is definitely heading for greatness. Magdaleno, for his credit is tougher than anyone I have ever seen, unfortunately tough would only hurt him more than he had to be on this night. Diego took a one sided beating that I wouldn’t even give to my worst enemy. This isn’t Lopez’s fault, he actually was very professional during the fight. Lopez was composed, confident and well schooled. Magdaleno was chatting it up a little, which I think it was more to bring the warrior spirit out in himself than it was to taunt Lopez. The end coming in the 7th with a double left hook reminiscent of Jones Jr. was more than any person could take. The fight should have actually been stopped the round prior but sometimes a fighter would rather go out on his shield than being stopped in his corner. If there is one knock on Lopez, it’s that he should make every attempt to touch gloves with his opponent after the fight or at least thank his opponent for making him look so good, not in those words. The post fight celebration was perfectly fine, you should be able to celebrate, but you should try and get the sportsmanship in. Lopez is so good that he is on an astronomical level.

In the main event, Kovalev fought Alvarez in an outstanding rematch. The role reversal was so apparent, it was ironic. In the first fight, Kovalev was the one trying to land the big right hand and Alvarez boxed and countered beautifully. In the second fight, Alvarez was looking for the big right hand while Kovalev administered jab 101. School was in and Kovalev was now the teacher. Kovalev, who had fell in love with his right hand as the great equalizer, showed us that boxing was a two handed sport. He started with a jab, finished with a jab. I’m sure Buddy McGirt had a lot to do with reminding Kovalev of those basics. I’ve seen Kovalev fight that way prior, but not as good as he did last night. It was great performance, maybe his best performance, and had nothing to do with a knockout. Alvarez was outmatched, outgunned and outjabbed. Congrats to the new Light Heavy Champ. If he fights like that in every fight, he might be unbeatable. Kovalev is once again the best in the division. The scores were 116 – 112 twice and pitched a perfect fight on the third with a 120-108. I had it 119- 109. Kovalev did this to probably the second or third best guy in the division. I would definitely keep his new trainer. Alvarez will definitely be champion again, he is young and hungry. He will reach the pinnacle of the sport, it just wasn’t his night.

Kevin Hart Slammed for His Response to Homophobic Attack on Jussie Smollett

So funny. The only person that has the right to dismiss Kevin Hart’s tweets is the person he referenced. All these people that jump on this band wagon of trying to tear the comedian down for some jokes, albeit comedians will make some on edge comments and they were only jokes, must be perfect. Didn’t know that their were so many Jesus’s walking the earth. Hey, to those people, I would like start my own wine distillery, maybe you can come over and turn my water to wine. I would share the profits with you but I’m sure you’re too perfect for that. Mr. Hart, keep your head up, if any of us were perfect, then we wouldn’t need mirrors in our homes or cars in our garages. We would just wake up and float every where. You see, after reading this paragraph, this is why we need the Kevin Hart’s of the world, I’m just not funny but we all need to laugh. I’m not calling people out for chastising him on the statement, I’m calling them out for mentioning it more than once. He apologized, he got it, let’s move on.

ANOTHER GOOD DAY AT THE GYM

The gym is so weird. Every time I go there there’s something new. This time it felt like I had ants in my feet trying to make it up to my nut sack. And, why do women wear so much perfume. It just gets all in your lungs and you can hardly breathe and every time you take a breath for 15 minutes after, you have that smell in your nose that seems to go straight to the brain.
