Trump Administration Launches ICE Crackdown In NJ, Elsewhere

ice

In shared news:

“Today’s filed lawsuit presents important legal issues concerning whether the directive’s prohibitions and restrictions on information sharing and basic cooperation with federal officials violate the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution,” Carpenito said.

I don’t know how it is now but it used to be that ICE detainers or ICE would be informed only if an illegal immigrant committed a felony or serious misdemeanor. In Arizona, police were detaining people if they thought they were illegal during traffic stops, which we all know, the light was yellow, not red. So the question is, does it violate the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution if local law enforcement does not inform ICE when dealing with immigrants? The law also clearly states that the only person that can determine citizenship is an Immigration Agent. That being said, why would local law enforcement try to determine someone’s residency requirements during anything that would not put them away for more than a year? The law is funny and trying to interpret the law, which seems to shift depending who is arguing it, can be tricky. If the law clearly dictates that local Law Enforcement can not determine citizenship and that is only left to immigration agents, then isn’t New Jersey following the law? The law also states that, if a person commits a felony, than that person’s residency needs to be established, for purposes of trial, that’s when Immigration Agents now can file that detainer. So anything short of serious misdemeanor, like domestic violence, there should be no need for ICE to be involved. That’s just my opinion. That in itself is troublesome because what will happen is that ladies or men are going to get hit and they are not going to report it because of fear of deportation. So, I believe the standard should be a felony, so women or men can report abusive spouses.

Chancla

I respect all Hispanic mothers because I have one and I love her and so does my son but also because that chancla would go Matrix and bend corners and smack me upside the head when I didn’t. Feliz Cumpleanos mama…. Don’t forget to kiss your mom on her birthday to show her how much you respect women.

SANCTUARY CITIES

sanctuary cities

Across the U.S. there are sanctuary cities that protect illegal immigrants, mostly Hispanics from abusive immigration laws. The problem with these sanctuary cities is that they don’t enforce the law, any of them. The likelihood of one of these immigrants becoming a victim of  a serious crime are higher, as are the chances that the crime will not be investigated. We give into these sanctuary cities only to be abused by other methods. It’s a double edged sword of getting cheap labor for the luxury of avoiding deportation and not being able to take advantage of the amenities that this country has to offer. Illegal immigrants are most likely to get sexually assaulted, become victims of violent crimes and have no outlet providing them protection due to the fact that people view them as non-tax payers that aren’t afforded these protections due to their status. What you have is these people that tell you can stay but only if you do what I say. So I don’t know if I would call them sanctuary cities as much as I would call them cattle farms.

If the State were to charge them State tax and allow them to have all the amenities that they give their regular citizens, like New York presently is by allowing them to get driver’s licenses, then you might have a recipe for something that could work. Trust me when I say that these people would be the most law abiding citizens there are.

This blog is not an opinion. This comes from personal experience of being a Hispanic immigrant and former LEO and having a Hispanic immigrant family that had problems with the immigration process, won’t go any further.

MPO: ITS WHETHER YOU ARE GOOD MORALLY

sodom and gomorrah
Sodom and Gomorrah

I find it funny how people interpret things. If there is one truth is that evil knows the bible as good as anyone and will twist its teaching for its own perverse intention. For ages people have depicted Sodom and Gomorrah as retribution for homosexuality. That is a twist on what the bible truly intended. Sodom and Gomorrah was actually depicting the dangers of being unfaithful and promiscuity as people, hetero and homo, were killed in that parable. I don’t care what your sexuality is, I just care that you are a good person and being faithful to your loved one is a sign of good moral character. God doesn’t teach you to hate because you don’t like the same things, he teaches you understanding and compassion. At the same time we understand that a person that cannot remain faithful to the person they love will not remain faithful to anyone and only cares about themselves. So as for any comments on Mr. Buttigieg’s personal life, the only question should be, are you faithful to your husband? The rest is none of our business. If there is a God, he will judge your choices and if there isn’t, then what the hell are you complaining about. Personally, I believe in God and I don’t think he gives a damn about whether you are Homosexual or Heterosexual, only that you are good person.

BOXING: GARCIA, LINARES

garcia linares

Great night of fighting on DAZN as Jorge Linares dispatched of his opponent Morales, a durable fighter that has never been KO’ed until now, with a short right hand, the signature punch of Linares. Linares did not come away unscathed as he suffered some cuts.

Ryan Garcia, the anglo first name and Hispanic surname phenom of the Golden Boy stables, was poised and showed why, even though he doesn’t hold a major belt……yet… he is a force to be reckoned with. At 21 and to have that kind of timing and power in his left hook is pretty amazing. Timing comes with confidence and you can see that Ryan has that in abundance. Garcia dispatched his opponent in devastating fashion, a very appropriate phrase, given that Fonseca seemed to be unconscious prior to hitting the canvas.

The next fight for these talented fighters is against each other. While the advantage is seemingly for Garcia, Linares is fighting for relevance so he will definitely come with everything. I saw Devin Haney in the ring requesting to be next. Mr. Haney, who throws his power right by reaching behind his right ear, is a perfect candidate for Garcia. His wins over Garcia in the amateurs don’t translate to the pros where the gloves are way lighter and you aren’t wearing head gear. Haney’s flaws are perfect for Garcia to exploit. I say to him, Mr. Haney, watch what you ask for, you might just get it.

stop and frisk

I used to do stop and frisk. I used to stop the Bank of America guys and take their pens so they couldn’t sign the reverse mortgage policies. You should have seen them cry. I used to yell at them “What shitty policies that ruin peoples lives are you going to sign with this pen”. And they would cry and say I don’t know how that got there, it isn’t mine. The problem is that you don’t need a background check to buy a pen.

Mont Blanc, destroyed more lives than any war. And for the record, I don’t think Bloomberg is a racist. I think he took the recommendations that were given without fully exploring the outcome or what it entailed and once he was in, he felt that he had to protect those recommendations.

IT’S THE END OF AN ERA (A SHORT ERA)

yang

As Andrew Yang closes out his bid for the Presidency, he will be sorely missed. As one of the few voices that had true insight and didn’t just blame his opponent for everything, Andrew showed something that is completely rare in the days of high tech gadgetry, common sense. It’s funny that common sense is as rare these days as a solar eclipse. Mr. Yang should not put his head down. He outlasted several highly regarded contenders, all by seeing the problem for what it is and finding practical solutions. If I were the top three candidates, I would be seeking Mr. Yang’s endorsement because, even though he didn’t get the nod, he has shown that he has the right answers. And if I were Mr. Yang, I wouldn’t just give his endorsement to just anyone but the person he truly feels will make the best candidate. A lot of people will be watching to see who he chooses.

illegal crossers

I was working my night shift with the Border Patrol when I received a radio call from our person working scope. I was TDY to Douglas, Arizona where the influx of illegal citizens were overwhelming the area. The scope person tells me he has a group of three crossing by the wash heading towards the highway. I position myself in front of them, the most likely route they are going to take while other agents were working from the border towards them. As I laid in wait, I see the first person pop his head up, looking to see of the coast is clear. The person puts his head back down and the pops out of the brush and then I see two more people start to come out of the brush and I start to run over to cut them off. They see me and they lay down flat. I yell “parese” and they just look at me and yell it again “levantanse todos” and the next thing I see, like a bunch of gophers popping up one at a time, 50 people stand up. I just look and thought holy shit, So I yell, “sientense” and they all sat down and then my partner runs over, who doesn’t quite know yet and yells “levantanse”, I just said “no, no, no” and all 50 get up and he says “oh shit” and then yells “sientanse” and they all sit down. He says that’s not three, I said yeah. We inform scope that the group was upwards of 50 and he says I have bad angle up here. I asked were you looking at this group, he said yes and I asked maybe that the scope should go in for maintenance. During this whole time of two BP agents and 50 illegal citizens, the illegal citizens never once were disrespectful or failed to follow any of our commands. One guy asked, as we were doing our searches for weapons and illegal contraband, how we spotted them and I told him we have satellites and he just looks up and says, “looking at us”,  and I said yeah, and he looks up and waves hi. LOL, poor guy, my partner told them they have missiles and the the guy says nahhhh! they would’ve killed me a long time ago. I started to laugh and said to my partner, we have a repeat customer. The illegal citizen said, I was in already, I just wanted to visit my family for Christmas. I told him he was funny, that I was going to let him drive the transport van, he said really, I said NO!, este loco……

DEMO DEBATE 02/07/2020

demo debate 02 07 2020

This was a really good debate. The candidates were animated but controlled. There is no easy path forward for these candidates but they certainly made a good case for themselves. If I had to describe the candidates with one word it would be:

Yang – Innovative

Buttigieg – Pragmatic

Sanders – Revolutionary

Biden – Stalwart

Warren – Energetic

Klobuchar – Tenacious

Steyer – Virtuous

It will be up to the voter to decide which one is a leader. A leader, to me, is not the person that has all the answers, I expect that they will have some, but the person that recognizes the right answer when it is presented to them and just as important, can recognize the wrong answer and be able to change course when necessary.

They were pretty emphatic in pointing out that judgement was the key, I believe that to be right. In any occupation where decision making is the priority, judgment, good judgement, is the key.

I also believe that any problem can be fixed through education. You fix our educational system, pay teachers a higher wage and, at the same time, hold them to higher standard, you can fix everything from racism to poverty. The reason why inner cities face such high rates of discrimination in the justice system is because the education system in these areas are overwhelmed. If my old stomping grounds, as they say, Paterson, NJ, had schools that were rated a 10 instead of a 1 in some cases, you would see an influx of wealth in that city because people want to migrate to where they can offer their child a better education. You fix the school system in inner cities you fix a majority of the social ills. That means more teachers, better paid teachers, more student teachers, better curriculum, more diversity, less worrying about my Hispanic child being left behind and passing him out of pity and more holding him to a standard that would allow him to thrive in the real world both educationally and morally. Teach a philosophy, not necessarily a religion, that’s up to the parents, but a philosophy that demonstrates that hard work and making the right decisions and doing the right thing is what makes us good people. I personally am a fan of Immanuel Kant, but there are many modern philosophers that can lead you down the path of wisdom. You are never too young, or old  for that matter, to learn to  do the right thing and make the right decisions.

It has always been my belief that you put the best two candidates forward from each party and the country can only benefit us a whole. I see 7 good candidates on this stage, I have my opinion, and I think it was demonstrated, as to who is the candidate who can bring us all together. That candidate might or might not have been on the stage, that’s my personal decision and that’s the way I’ll vote.

An example of some past leaders that represented the values and leadership skills that I held to be dear to me are Eisenhower, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Obama. They all had something in common, they united the country.

Iowa Dems release ‘100 percent’ of caucus vote totals showing Buttigieg ahead, amid calls for recanvass, FOX NEWS

iowa cuacus

Iowa caucus made simple.

Lol… Deja vu …. can anyone say repeat

Funny, Demos make ballots into linear accelerator relativity and wonder why they can’t get the votes in on time

Repubs show a pic and say push here.

Just give the State to Pete, he earned it. I already have a headache listening to this nonsense. You can’t run a ballot box and you want to run a country, is what people are thinking.
