There have been many greats in this country, all not so great, unless they were thinking more along of the lines of “just great, what else could go wrong”. In 1929 this country went into, what is now known as, The Great Depression. It nearly took out this country but we roared back to become the greatest country on Earth, in no small part due to FDR’s actions and because the Japanese attacked us. We face a new great right now, The Great Partisanship, (trademarked), a political rift by not only two parties, but within parties that might become a big as a problem as the great depression. The divide by the Repubs at this moment could be a huge problem. This could give Demos, who already enjoy the popular vote in most elections, an unattainable lead that Repubs might not be able to overcome. This is really bad for America because it now allows one party to implement all the rules and regulations they want and as much as they, the Demos, might think that this is the best situation for the country because I’m sure they think they have the best interest of the country at heart, everything needs its check and balances. The Repubs play an important part in making sure that spending doesn’t get out of hand and that progress moves in the right direction without alienating big business, seemingly that is their role. Nothing ever works with one mindset, you need to have the right roadblocks to make sure this country doesn’t drive itself over a cliff at 100 MPH because someone didn’t see the warning signs.

Both parties are very alike in as much as that they want the best for this country and the people that live in it, they just disagree on SOME of the ways to get there. Both parties need to have some introspect and in this case, the Repubs are the ones that need to do some soul searching before they find themselves as a former political party. They need to make the tough decision of cutting or incising some of their party to save the party as a whole. Get rid of the cancer, no matter how tough. Make the tough decision now before the cancer spreads and it kills you. I’m not going to say who or what it is, that’s for the party’s leaders to decide but they have to rally the troops and make the tough call, even if it means your job. Save America, kill the cancer, rally around your leaders, see how I put an s after leader to make it leaders, because no one person rules the Repub party like no one person rules the Demo party, and make that tough decision. This is not a Dictatorship or an Aristocracy where one person makes all the calls, it’s a democracy where we all make the bad decisions. Simple rules, be honest to yourself and it will be easy to be honest to the country, right is right and wrong is wrong, my third grade teacher told me that and I asked can right be a giraffe instead and she was very emphatic that no, no it could not be. So live in reality, do what’s right and make the tough decisions that need to be made, before it’s too late.

I’m impressed by the Susan Collins’, Pat Toomeys, Adma Kizingers, Mitt Romneys who made the hard call. This country needs more moderate, willing to work together, uniters and less the they did it that way we’ll take the opposite stance people because Repubs and Demos are not opposites, they’re just overpaid, hahaha…. zing.
